Here is an interesting project I did in 2003. It was meant to be released as part of new-age 3cd package, but was replaced with another concept. It was never released, and will never be released, so it is here for anybody who can find some use of it.

There are some quite elaborate technical explanations behind this album. To make it short, there are some relaxing pacific ocean waves sounds, some seagul sounds, and in background there are some tones. Those tones are the ones, that need explanation. They are based on planet Earth’s resonances, called Schumann resonances, which are global electromagnetic resonances, excited by lightning discharges in the cavity formed by the Earth surface and the ionosphere. You can read more about it here. And there is plenty more reading about it if you google for “Schumann resonance”. It is well known term in both scientific and alternative circles.

Usually there are listed seven Earth’s frequencies, specifically 7.8, 14, 20, 26, 33, 39 and 45 Hertz. The lowest and strongest Earth’s resonance appears in average at 7.83Hz.

Those resonances are called also as “Earth’s breathing” and are said to be connected with all living beings on earth. Their influence on human psychology was observed, some info can be found here. And obviously connection between human chakras and earth’s resonances was researched in alternative healing methods. 

WARNING! Since earth resonances are not harmonic, as you can see from frequencies, there is disharmony when tones are played polyphonically. This can create certain tension and discomfort with some listeners.

For musical purposes, we humans preffer harmonical scales. In nature, those tones play together. They are not harmonically related, and creating musical scale based on such earth’s intervals can create discomfort. It helps if those sounds are not seen as music, but rather as tones which are in tune with resonances that Earth is producing naturally.  

This recording attempts to stimulate chakras, and self-healing potency of human body, through use of these earth’s frequencies. Opinion about its usability and effectivity is left for each listener to decide. I’m not advertising these methods, I just made this record, based on years of my pre-devotee experiences in this field, by request of one devotee friend, for his business needs.
